During the conversation, the head of state was asked about his views on the possibility of holding elections in Ukraine.
In response, Zelensky stated that he is willing to resign on the condition that Ukraine becomes a NATO member.
The Ukrainian leader emphasized that holding elections in the country does not mean he cannot become president again.
"It will not be easy to replace me, because it's not enough just to hold elections. You will need to prevent me from participating. And that will be a bit more complicated," he said.
