"The main consideration is the reluctance to disrupt our contacts with Russia, the unwillingness to put our security at risk, because we understand that this could lead to very serious consequences for Israel's safety," the diplomat explained.
According to Brodsky, such matters should be discussed privately, as "any public discussion of these issues only causes harm."
"We have communication channels with Ukraine, and we discuss a wide range of issues, including communication lines between intelligence agencies. Very sensitive matters are being addressed there, which are crucial for both nations. However, it is clear that we will not be discussing these issues today. I believe that they should not be discussed in the press at all," the Israeli ambassador concluded.
