The Rada has appointed Chernyshov as the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of National Unity.
On December 3rd, the Verkhovna Rada appointed Alexey Chernyshov, the head of the Naftogaz company, as the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of National Unity. This was announced via Telegram by Yaroslav Zheleznyak, a member of parliament from the "Holos" party.

He noted that the decision was supported by 237 lawmakers (226 votes are needed for approval).
Zheleznyak believes that for Chernyshov, this marks the "beginning of his ascent to the position of Prime Minister."
The Member of Parliament expressed doubts that the decision aligns with the budget calculations.
