The decision was supported by 307 lawmakers.
Shkrum has been a member of parliament for the last two terms – since 2014, and she was elected to the current parliament as number 22 on the "Batkivshchyna" party list. Since 2020, she has been a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax, and Customs Policy.
On December 2, the relevant committee informed that Shkrum had submitted her resignation. On the same day, MP from "European Solidarity" Oleksiy Honcharenko reported that she "is going for the deputy minister of community and territory development." Sources from "Suspilne" also reported on her possible appointment to this position in the ministry.
