Trump proposes to appoint:
- U.S. Secretary of the Treasury – investor Scott Bessent, who has pledged to strengthen sanctions against the aggressor nation, Russia;
- U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services – Robert Kennedy Jr., known for his activism against environmental pollution, who has also spread unverified medical theories and conspiracy theories over the past years;
- Secretary of Defense – National Guard veteran and prominent Fox News host Pete Hegseth;
- U.S. Secretary of State – Senator Marco Rubio, who was previously a proponent of a tough foreign policy towards America's geopolitical adversaries, particularly China, Iran, and Cuba. However, he has recently softened some of his positions and stated that both Ukraine and Russia will have to make concessions to end the war;
- Director of National Intelligence – Iraq War veteran Tulsi (another variant is Talsi) Gabbard, who claimed that there are allegedly U.S.-funded laboratories in Ukraine developing biological weapons;
- Director of the Central Intelligence Agency – former prosecutor John Ratcliffe, who was elected to Congress from Texas multiple times. He denied Russian interference in the U.S. elections and refused to acknowledge Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 presidential election;
- U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations with the rank and status of extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador, as well as U.S. Special Representative to the UN Security Council – Elise Stefanik. She voted for a national defense authorization bill that would eliminate $300 million in aid to Ukraine and opposed additional appropriations for Ukraine in 2024;
- Director of the Office of Management and Budget – Russ Vought, who was required by Congress in 2019 to provide documents related to Trump's decision, when he was president, to withhold military assistance to Ukraine;
- Attorney General – Pamela Bondi;
- Secretary of the Interior – Douglas Bergamo;
- Secretary of Labor – Laura Chavez-Deremer;
- Secretary of Veterans Affairs – Douglas Collins;
- Secretary of Transportation – Sean Duffy;
- Secretary of Commerce – Howard Lutnick;
- Secretary of Education – Linda McMahon;
- Secretary of Homeland Security – Kristi Noem;
- Secretary of Agriculture – Brooke Rollins;
- Secretary of Housing and Urban Development – Eric Turner;
- Secretary of Energy – Christopher Wright;
- U.S. Trade Representative as extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador – Jameson Greer;
- Administrator of the Small Business Administration – Kelly Leffler;
- Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency – Lee Zeldin.
