He responded to the relevant question by stating that the majority of military assistance to Ukraine is provided through the drawdown authority mechanism, meaning it comes directly from U.S. stockpiles. However, there are delays in this process due to the need to replenish American weapon reserves. According to the politician, this is linked to military operations around the globe.
"Many of our reserves are being depleted, and this raises concerns about when it will end, how many more resources will be needed, how many lives will be lost, and how much we will spend on this," said Waltz.
