"Here’s what we have by morning. Europe has united, and urgent measures are being prepared. What matters is not the words, but the weapons. Ukraine will continue to receive support and armaments. Plans by [illegitimate President of the Russian Federation Vladimir] Putin to bring Russia back into Europe with the help of the U.S. can be forgotten in the Kremlin," wrote Kovalenko.
He predicts that "under current conditions, China will focus on a strategic alliance with Europe," because "Russia is not a priority for Beijing – it is merely a raw material appendage."
"For the U.S., Russia remains, as before, just a 'gas station' and a source of rare earth metals, which Putin is willing to give to Americans 'without preconditions.' Ukraine currently has enough resources to continue the fight. In Russia, regions are starting to experience shortages in resources for contractor payments – they are officially acknowledging this. Sanctions remain in place, meaning life in the RF will only deteriorate," believes the head of the CPD.
Kovalenko asserts that "Russia must abandon its absurd demands regarding the end of the war."
"Kherson and Zaporizhzhia are Ukraine, just like all the territories currently controlled by the enemy," he emphasized.
