According to his information, the chairman of the occupation council in the city has been injured.
"He was taken to the hospital; however, there is currently no information regarding his condition," the official noted.
Local media reported that Nechet's car exploded early in the morning. The vehicle was completely destroyed, and an ambulance took someone away from the scene.
The head of the Center for the Study of Occupation, former advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Pyotr Andryushchenko, pointed out that before the capture of Berdyansk by the aggressor country's army, Nechet managed the "Neftekhimik" House of Culture, and with the arrival of the occupiers, he switched sides, joined the "United Russia" party, and was appointed chairman of the city council. In Ukraine, he has been declared a suspect in collaboration.
