As the Deputy Head of the Central Military Medical Commission in Kyiv, he made decisions regarding the fitness of conscripts for military service.
According to the investigation, since the onset of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he has acquired property worth over $1 million. The individual failed to declare this property, registering it under the names of his wife, children, and other individuals.
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has provided a list of assets found belonging to the medical official:
- a private house in the Obukhiv district of Kyiv region;
- two plots of land in the Obukhiv district of Kyiv region;
- two apartments in Kyiv;
- an apartment in Odesa;
- eight BMW vehicles of series X3, X5, and X7 from the years 2022–2024;
- $152,000 and €34,000 in cash.
The suspect is facing charges under Part 2 of Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (declaration of false information) and Part 5 of Article 368 (illegal enrichment). The penalties for these articles can include up to 10 years of imprisonment.
