Zelensky informed Rutte that delays in NATO assistance are impacting the morale of the Ukrainian people.

On November 27, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke on the phone with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. He shared this information via Telegram.
Зеленский рассказал Рютте, что задержки в помощи от НАТО негативно сказываются на моральном состоянии украинского народа.

"Yesterday, a meeting of the Ukraine – NATO council took place due to Russia's use of a new ballistic missile. I discussed with Mark the available response options – the necessary strengthening of Ukraine's air defense. I specified the particular air defense systems needed that can be effective. These air defense systems are available from our partners," – wrote Zelensky.

He emphasized that the decisions made at the NATO summit in Washington from July 9–11 regarding air defense and other supplies for the front have not yet been fully implemented.

"We are expecting this, and it significantly impacts the motivation and morale of our people. The recent permission for long-range strikes on military targets in Russia has been helpful. However, pressure on Russia must be maintained and increased at various levels," – believes Zelensky.

According to him, in the conversation with Rutte, the focus was on strengthening Ukraine.

"We discussed contacts with partners – with America and others – our coordinated efforts with them to fulfill what we have already agreed upon, as well as the necessary additional strengthening – both military and political. In particular, regarding Ukraine's invitation to NATO," – the president explained.
