"Kharkivoblenergo" has acquired three state-of-the-art mobile electrical engineering laboratories.

As part of its investment program for 2024, Kharkivoblenergo has acquired two mobile electrical laboratories designed for locating cable faults and servicing energy facilities.

As part of the investment program of Kharkivoblenergo for 2024, two mobile electrical engineering laboratories have been procured to locate cable damage and service energy facilities.

"The electrical engineering laboratories are mounted on Renault vehicles. In the near future, Kharkivoblenergo will receive two more similar laboratories. The KAEL-5 will operate in the City Electric Networks, while the ETL-35 will be transferred to the high-voltage teams," — reports the press service of Kharkivoblenergo.

The KAEL-5 laboratory is designed to locate damage in cable lines of all types, as well as to test cable insulation; determine the routing of cable lines; perform topographical identification of cable line damage locations and measure the distance to damage points in high-voltage cables with a voltage of 04-10 kV.

The ETL-35 is a comprehensive mobile electrical engineering laboratory that can connect to facilities via a three-phase power scheme. It enables a wide range of tasks related to servicing electrical engineering facilities: it can conduct tests with direct current up to 60 kV, with the capability to indicate extremely low leakage currents, as well as alternating current tests up to 100 kV at industrial frequency; trace communication lines and locate points of cable insulation damage.
