"Укрнафта" внедрила новую технологию и получила дополнительно 2,6 тыс. тонн нефти.

Public Joint Stock Company "Ukrnafta" has launched a pilot project utilizing the flow diversion method to enhance oil recovery at two injection wells, reported the company's press service.

"The result was an increase in oil production from the reacting wells by 18 to 21%. This additional extraction amounts to 2140 tons of oil over 232 days at the first site and 502 tons of oil over 106 days at the second," the statement reads.

Currently, a total of 24 fields operated by the company are maintained under reservoir pressure, and the application of flow diversion methods allows for increased production in these fields.

"By the end of the year, two more well operations are planned. Next year, an additional 28 are scheduled. I would like to thank the Enhanced Oil Recovery management of the field development department for implementing the technology and overseeing the operations, as well as the oilfield services management and transportation management for their technical support," noted the director of "Ukrnafta," Sergey Koretsky.

"Ukrnafta" is the largest oil production company in Ukraine and operates the national network of gas stations. In March 2024, the company took over the management of Glusco assets and currently operates 547 gas stations—462 of its own and 85 under management.

The company is implementing a comprehensive program to revive its operations and update the format of its gas stations. Since February 2023, it has been issuing its own fuel vouchers and "NAFTAКарта" cards, which are sold to legal entities and individuals through LLC "Ukrnafta-Postach."

"Ukrnafta" holds 92 special permits for the industrial development of fields. It has 1832 oil and 154 gas production wells on its balance sheet.

The largest shareholder of "Ukrnafta" is the National Joint Stock Company "Naftogaz of Ukraine," with a share of 50% plus one share. In November 2022, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine made the decision to transfer the corporate rights of the company, previously owned by private entities, to the state, which is now managed by the Ministry of Defense.
