The application period for a one-time assistance payment of 1,000 UAH under the program "Winter Support," initiated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, began on Sunday, December 1, in the mobile application "Diia," reported Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
"Applications for payments will be accepted from December 2024 to February 2025, and they can be received through: the mobile application 'Diia' starting December 1, 2024, 'Ukrposhta' starting December 4, 2024, and partner banks starting December 10, 2024," - wrote Shmyhal on Telegram.
According to him, the "Winter Support" initiative aims to assist Ukrainian families and domestic producers.
"The funds can be used for paying utility bills, purchasing medications, books, medical services, education, transport tickets, and many other essential goods and services. Additionally, 'Winter Support' can be donated to the Armed Forces of Ukraine or spent on charity. The received amount is not subject to taxation," - Shmyhal stated.
