The pre-premiere screening of the New Year film "Train to December 31" recently took place in Kyiv.

By inviting a British politician, the filmmakers aimed to demonstrate that the trains of "Ukrzaliznytsia" can be used by diverse individuals, regardless of rank and status. In the film "Train to December 31," Johnson appears primarily not as a politician, but as an ordinary passenger.

"According to the script, Boris Johnson, dressed in a blue jacket and the signature hat of 'Ukrzaliznytsia,' was supposed to greet Ukrainians with his famous phrase: 'Good day, everybody, and Happy New Year!'", — shares the film's producer, Zoya Soshchenko.

The British ex-prime minister, who was in Kyiv for a working visit during the filming, gladly agreed to participate. He also signed a clapboard and a Ukrainian flag for charity projects. These items will now be auctioned off to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The film tells the story of a train journey from Kyiv to Lviv. In one carriage, various passengers find themselves together, and at one point, the train gets stuck in a deserted field.

In this extreme situation, the passengers reveal their best qualities. They begin to listen to and understand each other, ultimately coming together. As they grow closer, they joyfully start to realize each other's dreams.

The lead roles in the film are played by Stanislav Boklan, Yekaterina Kuznetsova, Mykhailo Khoma, Yuriy Horbunov, Liliya Rebrik, Volodymyr Nikolenko, Maksym Devisorov, Lesya Samayeva, Anna Kuzina, Andriy Isayenko, and others.
