Before the 25th meeting of the group, scheduled for January 9 in Germany, he expressed gratitude to the United States, particularly for its military support to Poland.
"This might be the last meeting of its kind, as the new administration is likely to propose a different format for this activity," said Kosiniak-Kamysz.
In his opinion, NATO must increase its influence in Europe. The minister reminded that Poland, alongside Germany and Italy, leads the so-called coalition for armored support to the Ukrainian army.
On January 13, there will be an online meeting of the defense ministers of these countries featuring Ukraine's Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov, as informed by Kosiniak-Kamysz, where, in particular, discussions will revolve around what the inauguration of the new U.S. president Donald Trump will bring.
