The leader of "PMR" hopes that Russia will provide a loan to cover gas payments from Europe.
The leader of the unrecognized Transnistria, Vadim Krasnoselsky, announced that the aggressor state, Russia, will provide the region with a loan to cover gas payments, which the "PMR" will begin receiving from Europe. He shared this information in an interview with the Russian TV channel "Zvezda," published on January 27 on the YouTube channel of the press service of the "President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic."

According to him, the initial plan was to purchase gas for Transnistria through the Moldovan company Natural Gaz D.C., but it "did not satisfy the Moldovan leadership."
Krasnoselsky stated that negotiations are currently ongoing between "Moldovagaz" and a European gas supplier for "PMR."
"The Russian Federation is financing us, 'Tiraspoltransgaz' is receiving loans and paying for the gas that will arrive in Transnistria," he explained.
The head of "PMR" confirmed that gas will be purchased in Europe and "in a good scenario," it will arrive in Transnistria by the end of this week.
