According to Belarusian propagandists, 87.6% of voters who participated in the elections supported Lukashenko.
BELTA reports that the leader of the Republican Party of Labor and Justice, Alexander Khizhnyak, received 1.2% of the vote, the head of the Liberal Democratic Party, Oleg Gaydukievich, garnered 1.8%, entrepreneur Anna Kanopatskaya received 1.6%, and the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, Sergey Sirankov, obtained 2.7%.
There were five candidates in the presidential election.
According to BELTA, voter turnout was over 75% as of 16:00, with polling stations closing at 20:00 local time (19:00 in Kyiv).
