Popular Ukrainian blogger Anna Zhuk, better known as Annette, died in a traffic accident. The tragic event occurred on the Kharkiv-Kyiv highway today, January 24. The influencer passed away at the scene. The injuries sustained in the crash were fatal.
Blogger Zhenya Zub reported this on his Telegram channel jenya zub LIFE NEWS. He shared a video from social media showing a wrecked car, which likely belonged to Zhuk. A truck was visible nearby in the footage. According to the blogger, Anna's husband was driving. He attempted to overtake and "collided" with the truck. The couple's son was injured, while Anna died instantly. The condition of her husband remains unknown.
"Her husband was behind the wheel; the man tried to overtake in the right lane. There was a car that was stationary. Anna died instantly, and the child in the back either broke his arm or leg," Zub wrote.
The communications department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region stated that they are currently investigating the accident, as reported by the publication "Dumka". Anna's death has not been officially confirmed yet.
