Ukrainian Cabinet may reduce the number of reserved workers at critical enterprises, according to reports.

The Ukrainian government is contemplating amendments to Resolution No. 76, dated January 27, 2023, which addresses the reservation of military personnel. This information was reported by "NV Business" on October 25, citing its sources (the article is available only to subscribers and is quoted by ZN.UA).
СМИ сообщают, что Кабмин Украины может сократить число забронированных сотрудников на ключевых предприятиях.

Among the proposals is a reduction in the number of reserved employees at critically important facilities. This can be achieved in several possible ways.

In particular, companies that pay their employees less than 19,000 UAH per month may be removed from the list of critical enterprises. Monthly, these businesses will be required to submit reports on salary amounts. According to officials, such an initiative could bring billions of hryvnias to the state budget each month.

There is also a suggestion to deprive regional military administrations of the authority to grant critical enterprise status. Alternatively, such decisions will be made locally by officials in conjunction with the TCC.

Furthermore, the number of reserved employees at critical enterprises may be reduced from 100% to 70–90%.

These changes need to be agreed upon by the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Defense, but so far, the agencies have been unable to reach an agreement, a source told the publication.
