Lubkivsky: Zelensky's statement on negotiations regarding the war signifies a return to the Geneva format.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky advocates for a negotiation format regarding Russian aggression that was established in 2014 in Geneva, Switzerland. This opinion was expressed on January 25 by Daniil Lubkivsky, director of the Kyiv Security Forum, on Facebook.
Лубкивский: Заявление Зеленского о переговорах по войне – это возвращение к женевскому формату.

He commented on the news that "Zelensky named four parties he wants to see at future negotiations".

"Zelensky believes that the optimal negotiation format should include Ukraine, the United States, Europe, and the Russian side. This correct thesis represents a logical return to the Geneva format, which was implemented by the government of Arseniy Yatsenyuk and our diplomatic team in the spring of 2014. Changing this format was a mistake," Lubkivsky wrote.

In his opinion, "restoring such a format would be an important achievement."
