"Today's explosion in Sevastopol of the vehicle belonging to Valery Trankovsky, the head of the 41st brigade of missile ships and boats of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, is a successful operation by the SBU. As a result of the blast, the Russian captain lost his legs and died from blood loss," reports a source.
It is noted that Valery Trankovsky was a war criminal. He was the one who issued orders for missile strikes from the Black Sea against civilian targets in Ukraine.
"He shelled Vinnytsia with 'Kalibrs' in July 2022, resulting in the deaths of 29 civilians. This scoundrel also repeatedly bombarded Odesa and other peaceful cities, causing numerous civilian casualties. He was a legitimate target according to the laws and customs of warfare," said the Security Service of Ukraine.
Russian media have already reported that the eliminated commander had been under surveillance for about a week, and the improvised explosive device was activated remotely.
"It is symbolic that this Russian war criminal, whose hands are stained with the blood of dozens of peaceful Ukrainians, ended his inglorious life on Taras Shevchenko Street in Sevastopol. Retribution for his atrocities is merely a matter of time. No occupier or murderer can feel safe, no matter where they are," said a source in the SBU.
The deceased occupier was added to the database of the "Peacemaker" website as an accomplice in war crimes against Ukraine.
Recall that on October 21, an unknown person eliminated the war criminal Dmitry Golenkov near Bryansk, Russia, who participated in the bombing of Ukrainian cities. He was killed with a hammer.
