"Many people were killed in the cities." Trump revealed the latest casualty figures from the Ukraine-Russia conflict.

The new President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced the latest casualty figures for the aggressor country, Russia, and Ukraine in the ongoing war. He shared these numbers during a press briefing at the White House on January 23, as reported by "Voice of America."
"Трамп озвучил новые данные о потерях в войне между Украиной и Россией, отметив, что в городах погибло много людей."

Trump believes that Russia has lost 800,000 soldiers, while Ukraine has suffered losses of 600,000 to 700,000. However, he suggests that the actual number of casualties is likely much higher and states that "this war must end," according to the report.

The media notes that Trump did not clarify whether his estimate of Ukrainian losses refers solely to military personnel or includes civilians as well. He only mentioned that primarily these are "fighters," but also acknowledged that "many people have been killed in the cities."

According to the U.S. President, countries do not provide precise figures regarding the number of casualties, both military and civilian. He emphasized that losses on the front lines are particularly high, especially among young servicemen, as the publication specifies.

On January 20, he reported 1 million eliminated Russians and 700,000 fallen soldiers from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
