In Mykolaiv region, teenagers brutally assaulted a helpless man and recorded the abuse on video. This was reported by the regional department of the National Police.
The incident occurred in the Voznesensk district of the region. Specifically, during a social media monitoring, law enforcement officers discovered a video showing a group of boys and a girl violently beating a man with their hands and feet. Police identified the victim as a 50-year-old resident of the area. Three minors were involved in the abuse: a 14-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy who inflicted bodily harm on the man, as well as a 13-year-old boy who filmed the beating on his phone.
Currently, investigators from the Voznesensk district police department have initiated criminal proceedings under part 1 of Article 122 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for the intentional infliction of moderate bodily harm. Such an offense is punishable by corrective labor for up to two years, or restriction of freedom for up to three years, or imprisonment for up to three years.
Law enforcement assures that they are establishing all circumstances of the incident and the motives behind it. The investigation is ongoing.
In the video shared on social media, it is evident that the events take place indoors, as local media report, in the victim's home. In the "clip" made by the minors themselves, the man lying on the floor is brutally beaten, and some liquid is poured over his head from a bottle. Throughout the ordeal, the teenagers use foul language, insult the man, and threaten him to make him sit. When he struggles to change position (sits up), the teenagers again strike the helpless individual, causing him to fall back to the floor. One of the minors can be heard saying:
"Come on, film it, we'll show it at school tomorrow...", "There will be puddles of blood here...". Meanwhile, the assailants are laughing joyfully. Based on their remarks, the name of one of the accomplices is Sergey.
According to some reports, the victim is a person with a disability or has an alcohol dependency. It is also mentioned that the teenagers took money from him.

As reported by UNIAN, the police have announced suspicion against the main figure in the incident that occurred in Bila Tserkva. It is noted that in a local park, the minors mocked a 12-year-old girl and demanded money from her.
Later, it became known that the suspect in the crime in Bila Tserkva was taken into custody. According to the National Police, during the pre-trial investigation, the minor will be held in custody for two months without the possibility of bail.
