At the G7 defense ministers' meeting, an agreement was signed to immediately enhance Ukraine's air defense capabilities.

On October 19, during a meeting of the defense ministers from G7 countries, Ukraine and Germany signed an agreement to promptly enhance Ukraine's air defense system. This information was shared on Facebook by Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.

"The agreement outlines arrangements under which the signatory countries will contribute to joint projects or fund their own initiatives aimed at enhancing the air defense capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," wrote Umerov.

According to him, in addition to Ukraine, five other signatory countries will join the project: Germany, Belgium, Norway, the Netherlands, and Denmark.
