In December, the national cashback accumulated by Ukrainians surged by 70%, according to the Ministry of Economy.

The total amount of funds accumulated under the "National Cashback" program has reached 436 million UAH, which is an increase of 180 million UAH, or 70%, compared to November, according to a report from the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine on their website on Monday.

The total amount of accumulated funds under the "National Cashback" program has reached 436 million UAH, which is 180 million UAH, or 70% more than in November, reports the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine on its website on Monday.

"The "National Cashback" program shows a stable growth trend. In December, Ukrainians accumulated 436 million UAH in cashback, which is almost 50 million more than the state paid in cashback over the previous three months combined. We are seeing an increasing number of older individuals participating in the program, indicating its convenience and accessibility for all citizens," said the words of the First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, as stated in the report.

The ministry emphasized that cashback payments for December and January will take place at the end of February 2025, due to the specifics of the budget process.

It is noted that currently, there are 4.5 million active users of the program – they have already activated cards for future cashback payments in the "Diia" app.

The most active participants remain young people under 45 years old. The share of such participants at the end of December was 57.4%. Users of middle age (from 45 to 60 years) made up 22.4%, and older users (60+) accounted for 20.2%. Among them, 62.3% are women, and 37.7% are men.

The Ministry of Economy also stressed the importance of activating the program card in the "Diia" app for timely cashback receipt. To do this, one needs to go to the Services section, select "National Cashback," and choose an existing card for payment. If there is no card yet, "Diia" will offer to open one through an app of one of the partner banks. Users can check the accrual of funds directly in the app.

Citizens who have a "National Cashback" card will also be able to use it to receive other forms of government assistance - "Winter eSupport."

The "National Cashback" program includes national retail chains, pharmacies, gas stations, as well as a significant number of regional chains and individual stores.

The number of manufacturers joining the program has been steadily increasing since its launch and currently stands at 1,665. The cashback is available on 360,000 products of Ukrainian production.

Additionally, 17 banks have already joined the program: PrivatBank, monobank, Ukrgasbank, Sense Bank, PUMB, A-bank, Bank Globus, UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group, Oschadbank, Accordbank, Bank Credit Dnipro, PRAVEX BANK, Clearing House, Radabank, Raiffeisen and OTR Bank.

As reported, on October 11, the First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, stated that the Ministry of Economy had completed the beta testing of the "National Cashback" program and decided to launch its national advertising campaign.

The maximum cashback amount is 3,000 UAH/month; funds can be spent by the 20th of the following month on medical and utility services, sports, cinema, train tickets, donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, or the purchase of military bonds.
