"The main consideration is the reluctance to disrupt our contacts with Russia, the unwillingness to jeopardize our security, as we understand that this could lead to very serious consequences for Israel's safety," the diplomat explained.
According to Brodsky, such matters should be discussed privately, as "any public discussion of these issues is only harmful."
"We have communication channels with Ukraine, and we discuss a wide range of topics, including connections between intelligence agencies. Very sensitive issues that are crucial for both countries are on the table. However, it is clear that we will not discuss these matters today. And I believe that they should not be discussed in the press at all," the Israeli ambassador concluded.
