The Danish Prime Minister seeks a conversation with Trump following his promises to reclaim Greenland.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has invited Donald Trump, who is set to take office as President of the United States on January 20, to discuss his remarks regarding the potential forceful acquisition of Greenland. This was reported by Politico on January 10.
Премьер-министр Дании хочет обсудить с Трампом его заявления о намерении приобрести Гренландию.

"We proposed to talk [to Trump], and I expect that it will happen," Frederiksen told reporters on January 9.

According to her, there has been no response from Trump so far. The head of the Danish government does not anticipate that dialogue will take place before his inauguration.

During the briefing, Frederiksen emphasized the lack of "grounds to believe" that the future head of the White House plans to invade Greenland, and pointed to the "close cooperation" between Denmark and the United States as NATO allies, as stated in the article.
