The Prime Minister of India could play a role in ending the war in Ukraine, according to Zelensky.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi could play a role in bringing an end to the war initiated by the aggressor country, Russia, against Ukraine. This statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with The Times of India, the Ukrainian-language version of which was published by the President's Office on October 28.
Зеленский заявил, что премьер-министр Индии может сыграть ключевую роль в завершении войны в Украине.

"Modi is the Prime Minister of a very large country. Such a country cannot simply state that it is interested in ending the war – we are all interested in that. All leaders will tell you they are interested in ending the war... This is his immense value in any conflict. This is India's significant value," Zelensky said.

When asked if Modi could facilitate negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, Zelensky responded that a second peace summit could take place in India, but added that preparation is necessary and that such a summit could only be held in accordance with the Ukrainian format.

According to him, Modi could influence the end of the war in Ukraine by blocking the Russian economy, energy resources, and the defense industry.
