The President of Azerbaijan labeled Armenia a "fascist state" and spoke about its destruction.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev referred to Armenia as a "fascist state" and emphasized that "fascism must be eradicated." He made these remarks during an interview with local television channels, which was published on the official website of the president on January 7.
Президент Азербайджана охарактеризовал Армению как "фашистское государство" и заявил о намерениях по его уничтожению.

"For nearly 30 years, this country has been led by proponents of fascist ideology, who have shaped it in their own image. Fascism must be eradicated, and it will be done either by the leadership of Armenia or by us. We have no other option," said Aliyev.

Aliyev also accused Armenia of allegedly being "a source of threat to the region." According to him, "Armenia must immediately stop arming itself," and "France and other countries supplying it with weapons must cancel these contracts."

"Weapons already delivered to Armenia must be returned. This is our condition," Aliyev emphasized.

Armenia has not yet commented on the statement made by the Azerbaijani president.
