"Putin aims for the war to continue," Zelensky reported seven casualties from the shelling in Glukhov.

Seven civilians fell victim to shelling by Russian occupiers in Hlukhiv, Sumy region, on the evening of November 18. This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on November 19 via Telegram.
"Путин стремится к затягиванию войны". Зеленский сообщил о семи погибших в результате обстрела Глухова.

Previously, it was reported about six casualties resulting from the shelling of Glukhiv. According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, the enemy attacked with two kamikaze drones. Local sources reported that among the deceased is a woman with a child.

"Russia continues to terrorize our border area. Last night, there was a drone strike on Glukhiv. There was damage to the dormitory of one of the educational institutions. Currently, it is known that seven people have died due to this attack, including a child. My condolences to the families and loved ones. More than 10 people were injured, including two children," – wrote Zelensky.

He emphasized that there may still be people under the rubble of the dormitory, and a search and rescue operation is underway.

"Every day we call on the world for determination and sufficient strength for Ukraine to block these strikes on our people. Each new strike by Russia only confirms the true intentions of [illegitimate President of Russia Vladimir] Putin. He wants the war to continue. Talks of peace do not interest him. We must force Russia to a just peace through strength," – stated the President of Ukraine.
