An interview featuring Alesia Batsman, the editor-in-chief of the online publication "GORDON," has been released on the YouTube channel "Dmitry Gordon." The interview is with Maria Maksakova, a Russian opera singer and former State Duma deputy from the "United Russia" party.

Among other things, Maksakova spoke about:

  • the press conference of the illegitimate president of the aggressor country, the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, after which "even seasoned individuals were astonished at how sadistic he is";
  • the remarks from insiders among Kremlin doctors regarding Putin's health, noting his peculiarities in appearance, facial expressions, and pronunciation;
  • the fact that by today, Putin should have long been dead, yet he has proven to be resilient;
  • the hope that Israeli doctors will refuse to treat Putin and help remove him;
  • a Russian video claiming that their air defense shot down Santa Claus, serving as a warning to all airlines;
  • the tragedy involving the "Azerbaijan Airlines" plane: Russians intended to sink the aircraft in the sea;
  • the EU sanctions against singer Larisa Dolina and propagandist Tina Kandelaki.

Maria Maksakova was born on July 24, 1977, in Munich. Her mother is an actress, and her maternal grandmother was a singer. In 1995, she graduated from the Central Music School at the Moscow State Conservatory with a focus on piano, and in 2000, she completed her studies at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music (department of academic vocal).

She has performed in Russian theaters such as "New Opera," "Bolshoi Theatre of Russia," "Helikon-Opera," the Mariinsky Theatre, and the Primorsky Opera and Ballet Theatre in Vladivostok.

She has released several solo albums and has taught at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music.

Maksakova's husband, Denis Voronenkov, was assassinated by a hitman in the center of Kyiv on March 23, 2017.

Since December 2016, Maksakova has been living in Ukraine, a country she did not leave even after the full-scale invasion by Russia began in February 2022.
