The Russian FSB has abducted the editor-in-chief of a children's magazine in Crimea, according to Chubarov.

On November 21, the chief editor of the children's Crimean Tatar magazine "Armanchik," Edie Muslimova, went missing in occupied Crimea. Her niece, Elzara Muslimova, reported this to "Crimean Solidarity."
Главный редактор детского журнала был похищен ФСБ России в Крыму, сообщил Чубаров.

The niece of Muslimova reported that she has not been in contact since yesterday evening, and the woman's mobile phone is turned off.

Muslimova was kidnapped by the Russian FSB, reported Refat Chubarov, head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, on November 22.

"We have received confirmation from Crimea: Edie Muslimova was forcefully placed in a vehicle yesterday and taken away in an unknown direction by the Russian FSB. She is currently in the building of the FSB of Russia. We do not know her status, but based on previous experiences with hundreds of similar detentions of other Crimean Tatars, it is likely that since the time of her detention until the official charges are presented (which has been almost a day), Edie Muslimova is being pressured to force her to confess to the accusations fabricated by the perpetrators," he wrote.

Human rights activist and journalist Lyutfiye Zadiyeva described the process of "detention."

"Edie Muslimova was placed in a white 'Gazelle' by three unknown men. This happened yesterday, November 21, near the car parked by her home," – she shared on Facebook.

As noted by "Crimean Solidarity," Muslimova's vehicle remains parked near her house.

Muslimova is the daughter of Crimean Tatar activist Refat Muslimov. She has been publishing the magazine "Armanchik" since 2011, which is released every month.

"This magazine is her brainchild. She cared deeply for her people, her culture, and her language. Therefore, the magazine was an important idea for her to convey knowledge of the native language to our people and children," her relatives shared.
