Russia intends to offer North Korea advanced space technologies in exchange for support in the war in Ukraine, according to Blinken.

Russia is prepared to offer North Korea (DPRK) its latest space and satellite technologies in exchange for weapons and other military equipment to support the war against Ukraine. This was stated by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken during a press conference in Seoul, South Korea, on January 6, where he is on an official visit, as reported by the Yonhap news agency.
Россия намерена передать КНДР современные космические технологии в обмен на поддержку в конфликте в Украине, заявил Блинкен.

According to Blinken, the collaboration between Russia and North Korea raises concerns for the United States and its key allies, such as South Korea and Japan.

The U.S. Secretary of State added that the illegitimate Russian President Vladimir Putin may be close to altering a decades-long policy by endorsing North Korea's nuclear program.

He emphasized that North Korea's close alliance with Russia underscores the necessity of enhancing security cooperation among the U.S., South Korea, and Japan, as well as with NATO. Blinken believes that security in the Indo-Pacific region and Europe is becoming increasingly interconnected.
