The UAE sheikh expressed to Putin his commitment to making efforts for peace.

On October 21, during a meeting with the illegitimate president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, at the Kremlin, the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, expressed the UAE's willingness to make efforts for peace. The transcript of the conversation, which includes a translation of the Sheikh's words into Russian, was published on the Kremlin's website.
Шейх ОАЭ сообщил Путину о готовности предпринять усилия для достижения мира.

He mentioned the prisoner exchange that took place on October 18 between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, highlighting the UAE's efforts to mediate humanitarian issues and the exchange of prisoners of war.

"I assure you that we will continue to work in this direction. We are ready to make any additional efforts in this regard, any efforts to resolve crises and conflicts in the interests of peace and for the benefit of both our sides," the Sheikh added.

Shortly before that, on October 20, Putin and the President of the UAE held an informal meeting at Putin's residence in Novo-Ogaryovo near Moscow, a conversation that, according to Reuters, lasted until late at night.
