The Ukrainian government plans to focus on developing the concept of "Ukraine - the gas safe of Europe" in 2025, as stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
"One of the biggest challenges this year remains energy. The two key tasks for this year are the restoration and protection of energy facilities. At the same time, we will continue to develop distributed generation and infrastructure to enable the import of more electricity from Europe," Shmyhal said at a government meeting on Friday.
The Prime Minister reminded that the Ukrainian gas transportation system is now operating without the transit of Russian gas, and it is crucial to implement a new operational model by 2025.
"We will pay special attention to the development of the concept of 'Ukraine - the gas safe of Europe,'" he emphasized.
