The security service did not disclose the name, but the circumstances of the case indicate that it concerns Roman Zavaloka, who was detained on September 29, 2023.
He was found guilty of repeatedly disrupting the work of representatives from territorial recruitment and social support centers during the summer of the same year, recording these incidents on video. The clips featured obscene language directed at military personnel, spitting at them, and promoting Russian narratives about "murders for money" and "the disposal of Ukrainians in the war," which he posted on his Instagram page.
In this manner, the provocateur aimed to humiliate Ukrainian defenders and undermine trust in the representatives of "military enlistment offices" while they were performing their official duties," stated the Security Service of Ukraine, referring Zavaloka's case to court.
The convicted individual did not admit guilt. According to the findings of a medical examination, he was under the influence of narcotics at the time of the incident.
In addition to the conviction, the court ordered the confiscation of half of Zavaloka's property.
