Syrsky discussed with a US general the potential involvement of North Korean troops in combat operations alongside Russia.

On October 31, Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Alexander Syrsky, announced on Facebook that he had a phone conversation with General Christopher Cavoli, the commander of the U.S. Armed Forces in Europe.
Сырский обсудил с американским генералом возможность привлечения северокорейских военных к боевым действиям на стороне России.

According to Syrski, the primary topic of discussion was the current situation on the frontlines in the war between the aggressor country, the Russian Federation, and Ukraine.

"The enemy, leveraging its numerical superiority in personnel and equipment, continues intense assault operations across multiple fronts. Heavy fighting of high intensity is ongoing along the entire frontline," the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported. "This is why, in my conversation with General Cavoli, I emphasized once again the importance of enhancing military-technical support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine."

Furthermore, as Syrski noted, during their conversation, he and Cavoli also exchanged views on the "urgent and firm response of the international community to the involvement of North Korean military contingents in combat operations on the side of Moscow."
