"Greenland loves America and Trump! Amazing people with an equally amazing welcome. They just want to be able to utilize some of the incredible resources they have and allow themselves, their country, and their children to thrive," he stated.

The son of the elected U.S. president also described Greenland as beautiful.

The trip was commented on by Greenland's Foreign Minister, Minna Nuuk Kleist, who noted that the authorities were aware of Trump Jr.'s visit in advance and that it was private.
