"Trump could be decisive. I think for us, this is the most important thing – that he, his qualities – they are such. He has the capability to be decisive in this war. He can stop Putin. More accurately, he can help us stop Putin. He can do it," said Zelensky.
He noted that he has already had several conversations with the elected president of the United States. In his opinion, Trump is "strong and unpredictable."
"I would like the unpredictability of President Trump to primarily concern the Russian Federation. I believe he genuinely wants to end the war. I think that’s true," Zelensky continued.
According to the president, Trump knows how to win, and his victory in the U.S. elections was significant. It is this kind of victory over Russian aggression that Ukraine needs.
"So far, I have not had any negative experiences from our communication," Zelensky said.
