The Prime Minister reminded that the Medical and Social Expert Commission (MSEC), in its current form, will be dissolved by the end of the year.
Additionally, according to the plan developed in accordance with the decisions of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, a group is being formed to review the decisions made by the MSEC.
"The next three months will involve ongoing inspections," added Shmyhal. "In November, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Digital Transformation will present a solution for the digitalization of all stages of the MSEC process. The Pension Fund, along with the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), the National Police, and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), must conduct a rapid audit of all disability pension payments to prosecutors and other officials of state bodies."
Moreover, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Social Policy must urgently submit draft laws on a comprehensive reform of the MSEC for government consideration, the head of government reported.
"This plan clearly outlines the deadlines and those responsible for its implementation. This issue should be among the priorities for all ministries and the ministers personally. Based on the results of implementing the decisions of the president and the NSDC, appropriate conclusions will be drawn," Shmyhal concluded.
