The Central Election Commission has recognized Tasheva as a new member of the Rada, replacing the late Makarov.

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Ukraine has officially recognized Tamila Tasheva, the permanent representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, as a member of the Verkhovna Rada, succeeding the late MP from the "Voice" party, Oleg Makarov. This information was published on the CEC's Facebook page on November 25.
ЦИК назначил Ташеву депутатом Рады, заменив покойного Макарова.

On November 6, the Central Election Commission announced that instead of Makarov, the elected people's deputy is recognized as Ivan Primachenko, co-founder of the educational platform Prometheus.

"Primachenko, who was declared the elected people's deputy in the extraordinary parliamentary elections on July 21, 2019, in the nationwide multi-mandate electoral district from the political party 'Holos', submitted a statement of refusal of the deputy mandate. The CEC reviewed the document and recognized Ivan Primachenko as not having received the deputy mandate," the CEC reported.

The commission explained that it recognized Tasheva as a deputy as the next candidate in line; she was listed as number 26 on the party 'Holos' electoral list.

Tamila Tasheva, a representative of the Crimean Tatar people, is 39 years old; she was born in Samarkand (Uzbekistan). Her family returned to Crimea when she was five years old.
