The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, held a meeting with the International Monetary Fund mission.
"We successfully completed the fifth review of the EFF program at the end of October. We met all structural benchmarks for the sixth review. Based on the current mission, we expect to receive the next tranche of $1.1 billion by the end of December," - wrote Shmyhal in his Telegram channel following the meeting.
He noted that the meeting addressed the further implementation of reforms outlined in the Memorandum of Cooperation with the IMF, as well as Ukraine's progress, which the Fund evaluates very highly.
The parties also discussed macro-financial issues and the country's external financing needs.
"The government has prepared the state budget draft for the second reading. We understand how we will finance key expenditures. There is reliable support from the IMF, the World Bank, the USA, and the EU through the Ukraine Facility program, as well as funding through the ERA instrument," - emphasized Shmyhal.
