"We are currently witnessing historical, tectonic processes: a new administration [in the USA] is coming in, as well as changes in European countries. The formula for peace remains the foundation for a just resolution of the war. This aspect remains absolutely unchanged," he stated.
According to Tikhy, Ukraine has already held all thematic conferences that have aligned common positions on the points of the peace formula.
"As of now, Ukraine can be said to be in a strong diplomatic position because everything is prepared. However, for this summit to take place and to be effective, preparation is necessary. The timelines mentioned were tentative, and Ukraine is always trying to expedite the process as much as possible, as you know," Tikhy said.
He added that work on the preparations is still ongoing.
"A summit or an event just for the sake of having an event is not needed; we require something productive," the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized.
