Umerov believes that the former official's previous experience in the government, as well as his prior leadership of "Ukravtodor," will assist in enhancing the supply and logistics system within the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"I am confident that his state and practical experience will contribute to improving the efficiency of defense processes and strengthening our defense capabilities," the minister wrote.
Kubrakov himself confirmed the appointment on Facebook and stated that he is already preparing proposals for reforming the sector and attracting investments in the military industry in collaboration with the defense subcommittee of the European Parliament, as well as Ukrainian officials, lawmakers, business leaders, and volunteers.
"We plan to present our findings in the first quarter of this year," his post reads.
