The leadership of the Central Medical-Social Expert Commission of Ukraine and the relevant department of the Ministry of Health have been dismissed – Shmyhal.

On October 22, following a meeting of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), where the operations of medical and social expert commissions (MSEC) were discussed, the head of the Central MSEC was dismissed. This was announced via Telegram by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, who also attended the NSDC meeting.
Уволено руководство Центральной МСЭК Украины и профильного департамента Минздрава, сообщает Шмыгаль.

"The decision made during the NSDC meeting and already implemented by Minister of Health [Viktor Lyashko] consists of several orders for dismissals. In particular, the leadership of the Central Medical and Social Expert Commission has been dismissed, along with the heads of the relevant department of the Ministry of Health responsible for coordinating the activities of the MSEC," he wrote.

Shmyhal referred to the situation in the MSEC as a disgrace and emphasized that this structure will be liquidated by the end of the year, as decided at the NSDC meeting.

"There will be an inspection and a review of unjustified disability decisions issued by the MSEC, particularly concerning officials. All inspections will be carried out within three months at the latest. These measures must be implemented promptly," stated the head of government.

Shmyhal did not mention the names of the dismissed officials.

There is little information about the leadership of the Central MSEC. Open data mentions Volodymyr Marunych.
