In the Donetsk region, Russian occupiers shot a civilian woman. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
It is noted that on November 10, in the vicinity of the village of Terny, representatives of the Russian army attacked a peaceful resident. The woman was walking down the street when Russian soldiers opened fire on her. As a result of the gunfire, she died on the spot.
The Office of the Prosecutor General clarified that under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office, a pre-trial investigation is underway regarding the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine):
"Currently, operational investigative actions are being conducted to establish all the circumstances of the tragedy and to identify the deceased. The pre-trial investigation is carried out by the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions."
Military Crimes by Russians
As reported by UNIAN, recently Russians executed unarmed soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region. Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets stated that he has already sent letters to the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross regarding this crime.
It was previously reported that Russians shot captured fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Pokrovsk direction. These actions constitute a violation of the Geneva Conventions and are classified as an international crime, emphasized the Office of the Prosecutor General.
