A video has circulated online showing a group of young people allegedly blocking traffic in the streets of Kiev for their own amusement while listening to Russian music.
"A group of young individuals in luxury cars created chaos in the center of Kiev; notably, as they passed by the memorial for fallen defenders in the heart of the capital, they played the song 'I Am Russian,'" reported one of the popular Telegram channels.
Their antics were shared on social media, where one participant claimed that "all problems will be solved with 'gifts' from their parents." Additionally, one video appears to show them being accompanied by the police.
The Kiev police responded to this information, stating that they are already identifying the individuals featured in the video.
"Currently, officers are determining when the incident occurred and identifying all participants in order to hold them accountable," the statement said.
New information is promised to be communicated to the public.
Other Incidents on the Streets of Ukraine
As reported by UNIAN, in the latter half of 2024, a wave of arson attacks on military vehicles swept through Ukrainian cities. Law enforcement has currently established that these acts are being carried out by hired Ukrainians, primarily young individuals, who sometimes do not even realize the implications of their actions.
In October, the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police prevented a bloody terrorist attack in Kiev that was planned by the Russian military intelligence (commonly known as the GRU). Two Russian agents were arrested; they were supposed to prepare an improvised explosive device and detonate it in one of the crowded locations in the capital of Ukraine.
According to the SBU's counterintelligence, the enemy's goal was to maximize civilian casualties in Kiev to incite panic among the populace.
