The Ukrainian President's Office responded to media reports about the war ending by Easter.

Mikhail Podolyak, an advisor to the President of Ukraine, stated on January 7 during a national telethon (broadcast on the YouTube channel "Rada") that it is currently impossible to pinpoint a specific date for the end of the large-scale war initiated by the aggressor country, Russia.
В Офисе президента Украины прокомментировали слухи СМИ о завершении войны до Пасхи.

On January 7, Sky News reported, citing Robert Clark, a research fellow at the American analytical center Yorktown Institute, that a peace agreement between Ukraine and the Russian Federation could be reached by Easter (April 20).

"You understand that there are always insiders in the editorial offices who have access to everything at once, and they know it all, but the reality looks a bit different. Today, it is impossible to clearly state when things will end," Podolyak commented.

According to him, in order to achieve peace, "all allies must clearly take one position," as well as "force Russia into the negotiation process."

"And forcing Russia means a synchronized public position, information pressure, diplomatic pressure, economic sanctions of a different nature, and military assistance, again, of a different nature to Ukraine," Podolyak pointed out.

Additionally, there is a need for "more active" engagement with Global South countries, the advisor to the head of the Office of the President concluded.
