In the village of Kryzhopol in the Vinnytsia region, an explosion occurred in the office of a manager at one of the enterprises, resulting in three fatalities and one injury. According to reports from the Vinnytsia police, the incident took place today around 12:00.
"According to preliminary information, a former employee of one of the enterprises entered the manager's office, after which the explosion occurred. As a result, both men died at the scene," the statement said.
The police added that as of 13:30, there was information about another man who died while receiving medical assistance. Another victim sustained injuries and was hospitalized.
A investigative-operational group from the regional police department and local police, along with explosives experts and criminologists, are working at the scene. The circumstances are being established.
According to local media, the incident occurred at a large enterprise engaged in the cultivation and processing of agricultural products.

On December 15, 2023, in the village of Keretski in the Khust district of the Transcarpathian region, during a session meeting, village council deputy Sergey Batrin threw three grenades onto the floor in the hall. As a result of the explosion, two people were killed, and over 20 were injured.

After briefly leaving the session room, he returned to the hall, retrieved three explosive devices from his jacket pockets, and threw them on the floor.
In November 2024, the deputy was found guilty of committing a terrorist act that resulted in loss of life, as well as illegal handling of explosive devices. He was sentenced to life imprisonment.
