"I have a negative attitude towards all these manifestations and to what could have been corrected on the ground by all levels of management. This refers to all commanders and leaders," noted the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As Drapaty pointed out, the success of the personnel depends on the influence of the command. According to him, work is currently underway to improve command effectiveness.
"I am confident that what has been stated will eventually be disproved," he emphasized.
On January 7, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated in a comment to the agency "Interfax-Ukraine" that the 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade "Anna Kyivska" is carrying out specific tasks in full composition.
"This is a newly formed brigade that underwent training in France and is gaining capabilities during combat operations, having its own brigade defense line in the Pokrovsk direction," the General Staff reported.
They noted that even before "some organizational problems of the 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade became known through the media, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had initiated an inspection of the situation, including regarding the significant number of instances of unauthorized abandonment of the military unit."
The General Staff informed that measures are being taken to improve discipline and the psychological state of the servicemen.
"This has allowed for a reduction in the number of instances of unauthorized abandonment. Currently, the brigade's units are receiving additional personnel, and the brigade has been reinforced with drone units," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine concluded.
